Container Reach Stacking And Unloading Precautions
Container reach stacking and unloading precautions
In order to ensure the safety of the use of the reach stacker, when loading and unloading containers, the operator is required to operate in accordance with the use specifications of the reach stacker, and pay attention to several issues during the operation.
When unloading the container, lift the spreader close to the container, place the spreader on the container to be lifted, confirm that the spreader is in line with the center line of the container, start to lower the spreader, and check that the twist lock enters the four corners of the container correctly, After the twist lock is completely placed, the twist lock is locked. It should be lifted by jogging at a low speed for 20-30mm and then stopped. It is strictly forbidden to lift directly and quickly. After checking that the four lower corner pieces of the container are disengaged from the lock head and there are no hooks and other abnormal conditions, lift vertically at a slow speed until the distance between the bottom surface of the four lower corner pieces of the container and the upper plane of each lock head is greater than 100mm, and the parking inspection is correct. Then, quickly lift and hoist away from the car body. It is strictly forbidden to move the machine without jogging the test crane, or when the container corner piece is not completely separated from the vehicle lock (or does not exceed the car gang).
Before the container reach stacker is loaded, the signal commander must confirm that the lock head is complete and the position meets the technical conditions of the loaded container. When loading, the reach stacker is close to the vehicle, and the four corner pieces of the container are aligned with the lock head of the vehicle. The container should be dropped steadily at a low speed to about 120 mm above the lock head, and the position of the box should be adjusted. After the lock head is aligned, it can continue to fall smoothly to prevent violent collision. After all the corner pieces enter the vehicle lock, open the spreader twist lock, and slowly lift the spreader until all the lock corners have been completely pulled out from the corner pieces of the container. Back up slowly, lower the spreader, taking care not to collide with other objects. After loading the truck, the commander of the lifting signal should confirm that the lock head completely enters the corner piece and the door stop stands up.
When loading and unloading the container, it is not allowed to fix the spreader or force the correction by manpower. It is necessary to ensure that the container can rotate freely, so that the container has a horizontal rotation (0.34 degrees) in the direction of the lock head when it is lifted.
When the reach stacker is running with load, the container body is not allowed to tilt, and the necessary side shift adjustment needs to be carried out to balance the container body and center the center of gravity. When turning, slow down, the speed should not exceed 5 km/h, and control the inertia of the load box. In case of poor sight line and complicated operation conditions, the signalman shall be guided by the lookout commander. Sideways driving or turning on slopes is prohibited.
